While going through their networking studies, one can’t help but wonder what Cisco’s more attractive cousin would be like? Well, I am here to let you know that Juniper is awesome and a great prerequisite to your CCNA. If you come from a Linux background, these products will make you spaz out. The entire structure of the device is hierarchical just like a file system since the Junos OS is built from Linux.
I had training for my JNCIA JN0-102 this week, and I was thoroughly impressed the only downside is that the Juniper is not as prominent as Cisco. On the other hand, the JNCIA is much easier than the CCNA, I was able to get mine in five days of studying with Udemy and my other training. This certification would honestly be a perfect transit between the Network + and CCNA. Since the JNCIA covers all the networking basics plus OSPF, one can apply for jobs while they study for the CCNA, without having to worry about not being able to hang in a technical interview.
